About the Owner

Meaghan Michaluk was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her company started in 2021 during the pandemic. She wanted a way to share her creativity with the public. She has always been passionate about the arts whether it is through her love for dance or other art mediums.

When she isn't working she enjoys spending time with her two teenage children, husband and her three cats.

What’s in a name

The story behind the name Edan Elle Designs.

The name Edan Elle was chosen in honour of Edna Butler, the late paternal grandmother of the owner. She rearranged the letters in Edna to create Edan. She mentioned that if she had had a second daughter, she would have named her Edan. Elle was derived from her middle name, Ellison, which she shared with her late Aunt Joan, her grandmother’s first child. Unfortunately, she never had the chance to meet her aunt, as she passed away at a very young age due to Cystic Fibrosis. Her grandmother has always been a source of inspiration, and she wanted to include her in this journey.
